Our Energy Department plays an essential role in energy studies and consulting. Some of its objectives include: reducing energy costs and optimising supplies to increase our customers’ competitiveness and feasibility, thermal and light simulations, designing efficient and sustainable solutions for newly-built and renovated buildings to guarantee user comfort, energy certification as per the laws in effect and software development. We work to implement renewable, profitable and environmentally-friendly energy. We also offer justifications for and process publically funded projects.
Proud of our experts – a multi-disciplinary team with support from innovative technology, who can cover a wide range of projects in the engineering, architecture, energy, ICT, innovation and education sectors. The Energy Department is made up of energy engineering, architecture, electrical engineering, computer science and telecommunications professionals.
A mobile LiDAR is a tool that can be used to create three-dimensional models of spaces and built elements quickly and effectively in very short periods of time. INSITU works with one of the most advanced systems on the market which has been developed internally – LiDAR BackPack. This system provides point clouds of environments built with RGB and thermal graphic images which are later completely and automatically transformed into BIM (gbXML) models, 3D geometry with added semantics. THERMAL IMAGING studies the temperatures of the surfaces in the environment by capturing the infrared radiation from bodies. Finally, the information obtained is managed using geographic information systems (GIS) or, alternatively, GIS-Web.
Energy consulting: lower electricity, natural gas and other utility bills, by negotiating the best price conditions for your energy with the biggest suppliers. Supply commissioning using power and rate optimization. The design and installation of condensers units to eliminate reactive energy from your system and prevent penalties. Consumption tracking and monitoring. Thermal simulations with advanced, in-house software.
Heating and climate control. Energy production and emission systems for the residential and business sectors. The assessment of different energy sources, both renewable and conventional. Boilers, radiators, heat pumps, etc.
Some of the most common jobs include 2D, 3D and BIM modelling, energy audits, consumption optimization studies, thermal imaging inspections, thermal and lighting simulations, and project writing.
