INSITU is one of the beneficiary entities of the competitive R&D&I TransMisiones 2023 call, jointly managed by CDTI Innovation N and the State Research Agency of Spain.
The E-HYDRO Project is focused on the development of a modelling and virtualization platform for water resources. This innovative platform, through simulation and prediction tools, will support decision-making in watershed management.
INSITU’s contribution to E-HYDRO is based on the automated processing of RGB images, multispectral imagery, and very high-resolution aerial and bathymetric LiDAR data (up to 30 points/m²). By leveraging Artificial Intelligence, these data will be segmented and classified to produce geometric representations of river channels and to identify assets present in their surrounding environments.
The E-HYDRO consortium consists of the companies INSITU as well as CEMOSA, Adasa Sistemas, Aerolaser System, and Public Research Organizations such as the Institute of Environmental Assessment and Water Research (IDAEA-CSIC), the University of Vigo, and the University of Salamanca.
The E-HYDRO project is funded by CDTI INNOVATION with the support of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
